Steve Sheppard (OWMR) reviews ‘Década en Directo’

Steve Sheppard (One World Music Radio): “one of a few albums in my life that literally made me stop, and demanded to be listened to, its musicianship is creative, crafted and impressive, the narrative woven crossed genres constantly, and this made it for me one of the most unique releases I had heard for decades”

🙏 I feel truly honoured by this wonderful review written by Steve Sheppard from One World Music Radio. You can read it in full here:

Distopic.it reviews ‘Decada en Directo’

Distopic.it: ‘Década en Directo’ isn’t meant for distracted listening. It asks for time, attention, presence. It breathes slowness and depth, turning the act of listening into introspection. Everything is played with balance and grace, as if the music knew it didn’t need anything more.

10th Anniversary & New Live Album

🤩 I’m excited to share that on October 6 the album ‘Década en Directo‘ will be released, featuring pieces performed live ✨🎶 You can pre-save it on Spotify here.

This year, 2025, marks 10 years since I began sharing the stage with Carmen (oboe) and Susana (cello). Over this time, different voices (Bea, Ana, Mar) and percussionists (Rubén, Sergi) have joined us on vocal and percussion pieces, rounding out the lineup.
It’s also the 10th anniversary of the En Directo 2015 album, born from that first concert.

With this new album, I want not only to remember and celebrate our story, but also to expand our live catalog by including pieces that joined the repertoire over these years and aren’t on the 2015 release.

The album includes six instrumental pieces and three vocal ones, with the following lineup:

Piano
Olga Bartolomé García
Oboe
Carmen Ruiz Revuelta
Cello
Susana Rico
Voice
Mar Cabello
Percussion
Sergi Perales

This time, although it’s a live recording, I chose not to include the applause at the end of the pieces so nothing distracts from the music.

We’re celebrating 10 years of shared music… and we’ll also do it live on December 7, back at Espacio Ronda 🤩

Stay tuned! 🎹🎶

Concert Photos January 2025

On January 12th, I held a concert to present the two piano albums I released in 2024, Solo Piano and Solo Piano II. It took place at Espacio Ronda in Madrid, and for me, it was magical.

I would like to share some photos from the concert. As for words, I prefer to save them for another time, as it would be very difficult for me to express all that I have received and what this experience has meant to me. I express myself better through music 😊

Just one thing:

✨🎹🙏 Thank you 🙏🎹✨
